You are over the top.
Don't live in SLC but spend time there. It is a few that cause issues. Most Utah fans support their team and are fine. I have zero issue with any fan base supporting their team as long as they are not overly derogatory about the other team, banter is fine. Believe it or not that is the case with Utah fans. If there was truly a big issue I do not believe we would see so many GA's support Utah.
BYU has its fans that are odd as well, tough to generalize all of us with the "self righteous", thinned skinned few.
We want to play with the big boys but can't take a few idiotic fans? What BYU gets by some idiots is nothing when compared to other big time programs.
