Lavell is a legend and always will be.

Bronco's achievements will always pale in comparison to Lavell. But let's not act like Bronco's achievements were so beneath BYU's standards.

People look back and don't realize that amidst the NC and some other great years, there were A LOT of years that were very similar to Bronco's later years which people hated.

Bronco was 43-17 in the so-called "bad years" 11-15 (71.67%) and Lavell was 257-101-3 (71.79%) all time.

And Bronco had to do it with much tougher schedules in a much more difficult landscape.
