Even in Bronco's "bad years" he won nearly identical to LaVells career.

Bronco was 43-17 in the "bad years" from 11-15 (71.67%). Lavell was 257-101-3 (71.79%) all time.

So if 9 wins is mediocre, that is about what BYU has been at their peak in any good stretch of time.

Bronco also faced tougher schedules (06 and 08 were the same SOS as last year and he us in the top 25, not bottom 10), and was in a very difficult college football landscape.

His teams were also on the cusp of being great, 2012---great Defense, but #1 QB recruit didn't pan out. Then Taysoms devastating injuries hurt what could've been likely years similar to 06-09.

Much more factors to consider than just saying he couldn't get it done anymore. Is there any doubt we'd be better off the last two years with Bronco?
