That turns classrooms into competitive environments. Teachers no longer work cooperatively, sharing lesson plans and new

teaching skills. Not to mention that some students are un-teachable. If a teacher can't control who is in their class, they shouldn't be punished for individuals who in essence have the power to sabotage them. Grades in elementary school are meaningless. There is no remediation for a student unwilling to try.

They can do that. Teachers are employed by the districts. Yes, you can't fire without just cause, but teachers get moved
