get. Everyone has this situation backwards, there needs to be less money not more. Schools build bigger in an effort to compete for the student loan $$$. Students are the product, not the education.
If the government ever gets out of the student loan business, that is when we will see tuition come down in a big way. Little Jimmy may not be able to stay in as nice a dorm or have that new multi-million dollar building to study in but it won't matter anymore because schools will be forced to compete for enrollment on a financial basis, not who has the nicest dorms.
