I get that. That wasn’t my point. We live in a society where a degree is highly

needed/required in order to get a job that has any chance of supporting a family. So for those people that don’t have the resources to pay their own way, student loans is the only way to accomplish that.

Of course if education wasn’t such a rip and they controlled the limit of student loans, we wouldn’t be in this situation.
