The only reason I'll send my kids is so they can get the "BYU experience" and
have fun, which hopefully strengthens their BYU fandom.
From the coaches' perspective, open camps just aren't a great recruiting tool because anyone can sign up. There are other college ID camps and showcase events that serve a better role for talent identification.
