i wonder if local renters here dont know that, and dont want to get in trouble
I do know a few people who get their dog registered as a comfort dog to be able to rent normal apartments. One even told the nosy landlord that he cant discriminate by kicking them out after obtaining said dog, and the landlord complied. The guy (who did this) seems to think that is true, not just BS.
Is it mostly scare tactic? fear of litigation?
