Here's the problem with that argument...
If you were told YOUR child was going to have a serious long-term reaction to a vaccine, but that in exchange all the other kids in your city would be safe, would you take that deal?
Obviously it doesn't work like that, but it's easy to talk math when you're talking about other people's kids.
(note: I vaccinated all my kids, and wouldn't hesitate to do the same again.)
