and believe all of the anti-vax rhetoric you still have to be shockingly, incredibly, and disgustingly selfish to not vaccinate. Even if vaccinating is 100% responsible for every negative thing that could possibly be attributed to it, vaccines are still a massive net positive for society as a whole. There is just no way to argue against that. And if you believe that vaccines are inherently risky for all of those imagined negative outcomes and don't vaccinate that just means that you are willing to let almost everyone else take those risks for the overall benefit of society, but you are not going to participate, you're going to take a free ride on everyone else's altruism because you and your kids can avoid the imagined risks of vaccinating while also enjoying the massively decreased risk of all of the terrible diseases that everyone else is getting vaccinated for.

Of course, in this scenario you're also an idiot if you try to get others to not vaccinate because all that does is decrease the value of the selfish bet that you're making by refusing to vaccinate.

So there you have it, anti-vaxxers are not only dumb, they are also horribly selfish, bad human beings.
