Honestly think doing the real tailgate scene is a ton of work & people have demanding schedules. I would be far more likely to go early and food truck it while hanging out w/ other fans. I could see them worry about the competition for vendors inside stadium but offer packages to have both or figure out a marketing plan for both.
Also think people do it more if there’s grass to sit on to eat & help with heat.
