When you are employed at the church you quickly learn it takes many to say yes

and only one to say no. This keeps things from just getting done. Good ideas take forever to get all the yes's needed and it can take only one no from any level, even by someone with little to do with the initiative being proposed to get it to stop dead in in its tracks. I have never seen anything like it.
