This is just a dumb excuse. Tailgating is a culture. The majority of tailgaters

don’t ever end up inside the stadium so everyone’s opinion that it requires 2-3 hours + game time isn’t even true.

It’s six Saturdays a year. You’re really mowing your lawn weekly in October and November? K. You don’t go to movies on Friday nights and Saturdays? Surely not...since how on earth could you grocery shop as well!! BYU is the only game you watch each Saturday? You don’t spend any time watching any other games?

It’s honestly a lazy excuse and drives me
Bonkers to hear it used.
