I’ve been to several SEC games and attended tailgating. My observation is that the bulk of tailgaters are

Not made of families with young children. It’s driven by older folks and younger people without children. Either that or they leave their children at home.

The thing that is striking to me every time I go is the number of very wealthy older folks who are such die hard fans. I may be wrong, but that’s not something you see very often in the BYU fanbase.
