I don’t see what’s so dumb?
For any one who has been involved in a legitimate research oriented graduate program knows how problematic this situation can be.
That’s why I think the only way this works is for grad transfers to enroll in an online program that requires very little resources from faculty.
It’s certainky not a dumb opinion. If this graduate transfer thing becomes more utilized, it could be a huge problem. The conflict and strain from the pressures applied by the administration and athletic Dept on these grad programs, the cost and resources needed to accommodate them, the numbers of students registering as incomplete degree/NF, the strain on resources, to say nothing about the conflict of integrity is enough for concern.
