A couple of points:
- We are talking only a couple of these "situations" every year...some years maybe none.
- These are guys who already have (or will soon have) their Bachelors, so they have already shown some academic apititude and determiniation.
I find it interesting that this is coming up regarding an African American athlete from the south, but yet I NEVER heard anyone say boo about Dylan Collie maybe not being able to get into a graduate program... Oh, I'm sure that's because Hawaii is known to be such a great academic university--Harvard of the far west!!
