Perhaps. But this is a new avenue and setting precedent is important.
Not every student athlete should be entitled to get into whatever grad program they want just because they play football.
If he doesn't qualify for his particular program, it's on him to find a program that he qualifies for.
If he is unwilling to do that, that's more on him or any other student athlete grad transfer than it is on BYU.
