The game and series were exciting and well played (with, I would note, some questionable calls by the referees affecting both sides), and a thrilling overtime period to end the series. The Sharks are a great team and played inspired and relentless hockey to force a Game 7 and to take full advantage - like no other team in NHL playoff history - of the 5-minute major advantage.
My only arguments here were that (1) the 5-minute major call was probably excessive and absolutely changed the outcome of the game, and (2) I personally think Pavelski was trying to embellish the cross-check to get his team a much-needed power play.
