One was an obvious penalty that was not called that would have given the Saints 4 more chances to win the game. The obvious miss was an egregious call that lead directly to them losing the game.
The Pavelski penalty by all the rules was a penalty. But that still didnt mean the Sharks were going to score even one goal let alone 4. And yet that still did not end the game, the Knights came back, scored to tie it and forced the overtime. The refs didnt miss any calls or make a "bad call" in OT that lead to the Sharks winning the game.
My team had a lead late in game 4, the refs called a really weak penalty, this directly lead to the tying goal. The Flames lost fair and square in OT though.
So yes, my situation is more similar to what happened with the Knights than the Saints and Rams no call.
