Well if they dated for long enough shouldn't they have noticed he was never

around and was training all of the time? I think what you said makes sense for those who got married after 3 weeks (and this probably happens a lot). But if they dated for any decent amount of time how could the wife be surprised at how often he was gone? He was gone when they were dating too yeah?
