Here’s the breakdown...
Vs Stanford Huntley threw for 199 yds and 1 TD. Moss was the offense and ran for 160 yds and 2 TDs. They kicked 4 FGs meaning the offense stalled and they had to settle for FGs on 4 drives. Offense scores 33 of the 40 points, they got a defensive TD to put them at 40 points. Therefor just in that one game alone I was proven correct as my claim was the offense did not average 40 ppg. It’s important to read what I actually claimed.

Vs AZ Huntley threw 2 TDs and had 201 yds, covey also threw a TD on a trick play. The rushing attack was once again the catalyst with three different rbs rushing for a TD. The offense scored a legit 41 points.

Vs USC Huntley threw for over 300 yds and 4 TDs, like I said i was at that game and he had a good game although he did get a couple of lucky bailouts by his wr’s but in any good game by a qb other guys help them out so that is no knock on him. The offense did score a legit 41 since they also got a rushing TD and 2 FGs.

Vs UCLA you don’t want to see Huntley’s stat line but here it is 13/22 for 138 yds with an int, no TDs. Covey threw another TD on a trick play. The rbs ran for 4 TDs, once again the running game was the catalyst not Huntley, they got 2 FGs. The offense did score the 41 points.

But as you can see the offense did not average 40 ppg as I said they didn’t, but to be fair they were close, Huntley was a mixed bag with one really good game, two decent but far from great games and one pretty poor game although to be fair to him he wasn’t needed as Utah’s rbs ran all over UCLA.

But what I said was correct, I wasn’t just saying stuff or making any of it up. It pays to look at the box scores when making claims.
