It's his life, let him make his own choices, and it's your
Money and estate, and you can choose who inherits it. If he's chosen so poorly on something this important, it's obvious he won't be a wise steward on any thing left to him. It only makes sense to choose those of your progeny who will manage wisely, it's that simple, for them to be rewarded more talents.
