was super excited at the start of it and wanted to take the lessons even recently but just didn't want to go to this lesson for whatever reason, or maybe hes decided hes done now. Doesn't mean his parents are forcing him. It just means they are coming to a fork in the road and deciding how to handle it.

My advice...give your experience and your advice and opinion and show a ton of love and appreciation for your kid and his talent and try persuasion before you try anything that looks like punishment or coercion or force
