UW claiming they were the better team in '84 being revisited.

I mean, isn't the argument why didn't they play BYU then to prove it?

Edit: I did finish reading it and actually enjoyed learning more of the history of how it came to be. No outright pushing in the article for UW to have been #1--though there are quotes near the end from UW players/coaches where they argue that. I agree with points being made below of why BYU is the legitimate National Champ. I do wish the article had some quotes from BYU guys.
