That BYU team had 4 players who ended up playing at least 12 years in the NFL. Vai Sikahema, Leon White, Kurt Goveia and Lee Johnson. Most of the team's stars were Juniors that year. The 85 team was more talented but suffered more injuries. The 84 team remained remarkably injury free.
