It’s like blaming Hall on the Toledo loss because he came in and blew the chance to win in the last series.
Hall had his start, the offense sputtered with him, he was injured and Romney came in and didn’t get the victory. But the next opportunity Romney had after, by most reports not even getting the lions share of snaps in practice, he pulls off the huge upset over the 14 ranked team in the country.
I wouldn’t be shocked if Hall started, I just think you are overplaying how much better Hall is than Romney. I think the team as a whole responded better with Romney behind center. But maybe it was more on the coaching and play calling.
As long as we keep those changes we should have a good shot in Logan.
