Why does it matter that bronco didn’t need a “learning curve?”
The op mostly talked about ceilings between the 2 coaches not how fast the caught on. And he’s right, the ceiling for BYU hasn’t really changed much since Kalani took over. Other than the one really bad season, Kalani has been pretty similar to bronco in the independent era. I don’t mean to discount that season, but it’s seems to be the exception with Kalani rather than the rule.
And as far as the “likely” scenarios go he’s basically correct there too. Unless you honestly think that this Virginia team isn’t likely to lose Clemson, Bama or Georgia? Or SDSU to lose to BYU with their starting QB being hurt...
I’m not sure what is so clouded about any of that.
