This statement is what gives me heartburn:
"Until BYU makes the needed changes and dedicates the necessary resources to support the football program - that 9 win ceiling will remain the same regardless of who the coach is."
I do think we will have the occasional 10 or 11 win season. But, it will not happen regularly. I would love it to be our reality. But the school will have to make "sacrifices" to permit the team to be able to recruit better to compete in the P5 environment in which we live today. I do not see the school/BOT/church willing to make those changes.
So, I am a BYU fan because this is my school. I love to see our team fight in the face of adversity. I love to see our team represent the things I believe in on and off the field.
