When Bronco and Kyle were in the mountain West conference together, the head-to-head record was 3 and 3 with BYU getting jipped with Bradley's knee being clearly down in 2010. This is despite Bronco inheriting a team with three seasons of losing records and Kyle inheriting a BCS winner that was undefeated.

Utah wins the lottery and moves into the pac-12 and BYU hasn't beat them since but still averaged a 39 finish during his years of Independence. This was referred to as mediocre and some fans claimed that anybody can come into BYU and win 8 games a year.

Then a moron named Derek Stevenson publishes an open letter telling why Kalani needs to replace mediocre Bronco Mendenhall who could never beat Utah and lost to Boise State 50% of the time, also had lost to Utah state twice in Bronco's 11 years which was unexcusable. The sheep flocked to Stevenson not knowing that he was unstable and looney and tied themselves to him, most have come to realize their mistake in misjudging Bronco and overestimating Kalani. Some refuse to admit the amazing asset that Bronco was and as Virginia's win totals have gone up every year, still cannot say they were wrong.
