I cheer for all former BYU alumni - players and coaches
I don’t look at Broncos leaving as him bailing. Many were tired of him and he probably got tired of them AND probably more particularly he wanted a new challenge. Good for him. I don’t obsess over him and don’t actively follow his team but happy for his success. I also don’t see him actively in our kitchen for recruiting like other coaches who have left BYU. I agree with this post that BYU football was in a horrible place when he took over and resuscitated it and created a highly disciplined team. I enjoyed his time here
