Meh, Tom chooses to not lock up a coach that has just won 99 games in 10 years
and just posted a 9-4 record, Tom's loss. Give that man job security and a raise. Bronco just didn't go out and entertain offers that season, Tom told him to. The fact Tom didn't make an offer is astounding. Tom wanted a new direction. This fantasy that Bronco just left on his own is bunk. He was not welcome anymore. Completely disrespected and was told he couldn't even negotiate until January. Ridiculous.
Meanwhile Kalani gets a mid November extension after 2 straight wins over Liberty and Idaho St. December signing wasn't until the 19th of December. Clearly Tom could have waited until BYU played a real game against SDSU, but that would ruin his PR stunt in the locker room against the FCS school.
