BYU grad. Started a software company that makes it easy to create rich interactive content for recruiting, sales, marketing and such. Well, when we were just starting as a company, we went to both the U and BYU football (Kyle Van Noy intro’d us) to show them what our technology could do. The contrast could not have been more different. The U recognized immediately how this new way of presenting information would change their recruiting game. BYU said they didn’t need technology to recruit. The U became our first customer and four years later “Coach Whitt still speaks of how much of a game changer it has been for them.” This to me highlights the very reason Utah is having increased success and BYU is not. BYU football is no longer innovative. Stagnant. Not willing to learn and adapt.
