Spending more money- adding bells and whistles- these things are all red herrings. If it were as simple as spending money or improving computer programs etc., then schools like UCLA would be national powers in football.

It takes great coaching and great players. BYU is struggling- like 2/3 of all college teams, to find the correct mix.
