The question you kind of have to ask is at what point will they pull the plug? If BYU football continues it's slide into mediocrity then ESPN will, at some point, stop paying very much for the television rights. My estimate is that the day that Football and Men's basketball are no longer profitable is when the time starts for them to be shutdown like BYU-I. I think that is the model that BYU Admin aspires to.
