This is somewhat akin to Nu Skin wanting to donate a legitimate big screen but BYU declined and opted for the equivalent
of a 27” screen TV.
You hear examples like the one in the OP and many fans continue to choose to believe that this same culture and mentality that exists among BYU leadership did NOT mess up their chance with the Big 12 back in 2011 ish. It’s laughable.
It’s astonishing how many BYU fans choose to believe that BYU’s leadership is incapable of making bone headed decisions.
