There are 2.8M deaths annually in the US. Even your 100k from Covid wouldn't be
totally incremental. Covid is stealing share from other causes, flu primary among them. But still even 100k deaths, mostly older people, relative to the 2.8 million annually still isn't a humanitarian crisis. From a dispassionate public policy standpoint, it just isn't.
