I don't think I ever said he went from 500k to his new one. The better articles

I read was more along the lines of saying he took the middle ground one and put it as the lowest scenario (the formerly 250k). And his changes weren't just around preventative measures. It was coupled with the change to R0 and asymptomatic. Of course he would highlight the measures be effective to save face. Anyone would.
