I don't think it's scripture - it's probably wrong
I just can't take all the misinformation out there currently where people are saying he revised his model down from 500K deaths to 20K deaths. It's just not true, but a bunch of people believe that now because of some false headlines yesterday.
He used a peer-reviewed flu epidemic model. Of course he hasn't gone through the peer review process for this new report - we don't have a year to wait for that process right now.
That being said, I don't have any idea if he's right on these projections. It's fine to criticize his model. But the hot takes on this yesterday have no connection with what he's actually projecting.
