I'll admit there is no proof, but your questions have easy explanations
1. Is it hard to believe one of the pizza guys had a friend at the Marriott who knew which rooms the team was staying in? I actually suspect one of the 5 is a Marriott employee.
2. Because you're famous and don't want to sit around in a lobby with random people coming up to you to talk about Jordan. Yes, this would have been true even for the trainer.
3. There is no win in admitting you were part of this UNLESS you can add some details that would support a claim that you did nothing to intentionally make him sick...they won't talk because they know they are guilty, pretty simple possibility.
4. Food poisoning can take as little as 1 hour.
