I’ve been working as a mentor with the Marriott School for 15+ years

To each student I give the same advice: treat your summer internships and early career positions as opportunities to determine what you don’t want to do. Keep a journal of the things you enjoy and don’t like about each job. At some point, with the proper amount of introspection, you’ll find the right fit.
