Level one what did paterno know? I think 1 time he was told something wasn’t right and he referred it to the AD. How many 100 year old dudes do you know and have you ever talked to any of them about anything like this? They get confused and can’t imagine it. I believe paterno couldn’t have been more surprised and shocked if they had told him that little red men from the sun landed and wanted to talk to him. He was out of his depth and confused if he is anything like the guys I know that age.

Referring it to the AD is the HR standard. They know the laws and can do a fair investigation. I absolutely should have gone here but the allegation should have been embraced and a full criminal nvestigation along with suspension should have occurred. The AD and HR are there to guide a manager through this with an employee.

This story is told in such a fashion that people actually think paterno molested kids. I think he got caught in a situation he wasn’t culturally equipped to deal with and the AD didn’t help him out.

The people that were angry were just out to destroy as much as they could and everyone they could get their hands on.

Horrible for the kids, Sandusky is evil and should rot in yootville the university screwed up big time and should pay. Paterno who had maybe 10% of the responsibility here got more blame than Sandusky.
