Basically everyone wants what mom and dad have worked for 20-30 years for, NOW
I saw this 15-20 years ago when I got out of grad school. No one wants to put the time and effort in. They didn’t see what their parents went through so they think it should be easy and fast.
I had well over a $100k in debt and I wasn’t happy. Now it would be much higher. I do sympathize in that regard. Ironically, it is the educators and univ admin who are to blame for this, and the vast majority of those people are liberals, but for some reason, this rarely gets talked about.
