All three are unlikely routes since there just aren't many superstars to begin with. But him signing a supermax really does little to impact two of the three paths (trade and draft unless you're promoting full on tanking) and there probably isn't much impact on the third. The obvious reason for that is because with free agency there just isn't a history of top end players changing teams and going to a small market. And if that player exists that really does want to come, there is still the possibility the Jazz could trade players at that point in time to clear enough cap space to sign the free agent.
