The expectations are unreal for physicians

We should have high expectations but patients will have a brief visit with a physician and leave a 1-star review because they thought the MD was short with them. Meanwhile, the MD is expected to see 10 other patients and can only spend a short amount of time with each one.

Plus HCAHPS on the inpatient side, revenue, quality and safety metrics, and every interaction would be a lot to manage. I don't envy it.
