seriously though, what is even the comparison you're trying to make? There's nothing at all comparable between the two things.

While I think it's overly conservative, at least the women who won't wear more than one set of earrings are basing it on guidance given by the prophet. I don't recall the prophet ever saying don't get breast implants.

The Church officially has no stance on plastic surgery, other than Elder Holland saying don't get preoccupied and fixated on nipping and tucking and implanting. I don't see a reasonable amount of plastic surgery as preoccupied.
