Have I once mentioned on the job training?
I agree, you can't work for a decade and magically be a licensed physician. Totally agree with that. I completed 7 semesters of training in medicine. But after 10 years of practice, I'd have to go redo undergrad courses then apply with the 22 year olds coming out of college to then repeat my 7 semesters plus a year or two. There is a physician shortage. Start a program where a PA could do a 1-2 year bridge program, sit for boards then apply for residency if they want to specialize.
