the players at the market rate? Tuition could be part of that compensation and perhaps Volvos. It just wouldn't be a grey market regulated by the NCAA. It would be a free and transparent market. I'm a fan of the universities too, and i do think there is a mutually beneficial relationship, but that doesn't mean that college athletics has to be "amateur" athletics.
