I had about 20-30 pounds I have wanted to lose for a couple years now. Could never lose more than 4 or 5 pounds and then I would hit a wall and eventually give up.
Read the book and immediately lost 20 pounds in a month after implementing it. I'm way more confident in my abilities to lose weight and keep it off now. When I've dieted in the past I am always miserable and hungry but after reading the book and changing my way of thinking I don't feel that way anymore. This weight loss has been way easier and more enjoyable than any other time I can remember. And it was 100% through diet. I haven't changed my exercise at all. As a matter of fact, I really haven't done any exercising since March and I am at my best weight in a while.
