Riddle me this: If there are nearly 40,000 UVU students and roughly 30,000 BYU

students, why does everyone assume the parties shown on the news from Utah County are "filled with BYU students?" Wouldn't it be more likely they are 3/7 BYU students? Furthermore, a couple of hundred BYU students at a party, assuming they were indeed all BYU students, doesn't exactly make a representative sample of what BYU Students are doing.

A fraction of the UVU student body lives in Provo while the vast majority of BYU students do live there.

A big fraction. I recently served in a Provo singles ward and about 60% were UVU students. The ward was about 2 blocks
