Not higher LDS population. We were talking about how many kids going to Provo parties are from BYU vs UVU

or non-college students. I'd bet it's half or fewer BYU students.
It's not just my daughter. All BYU students struggle with housing. It's a very real issue and yes, I'm bitter that the issue is artificially perpetuated by UVU students hoarding in on BYU's social scene. There are plenty of apartments very close to UVU. Students should go make their own social scene since they have the choice and BYU students don't. It's the reason BYU has been building dorms like crazy. Provo arpartments are dives &/or outrageously expensive & all due to the jacked up demand from nonBYU students. Sucks all the way around.

A fraction of the UVU student body lives in Provo while the vast majority of BYU students do live there.

A big fraction. I recently served in a Provo singles ward and about 60% were UVU students. The ward was about 2 blocks
